TRAININITY

Sound composition | Video | 3'33 | 2015

Trainsinity is a piece of music that was created using the field recordings of the Stör&Ton installation. In collaboration with Naanunca Mandragora, a video was developed under the name Qofe Productions.
The video illuminates the conscious and unconscious effects of the auditory perception of inappropriate noises, such as the mostly unheard rhythms and possible harmony of disturbing noises, and visually underlines them using glitch art.

The video was made as part of the 2015 diploma exhibition at the FHNW HGK
Basel is presented to the public in the cinema on an ongoing basis.
